Mercy Fitzgerald Lab Services
Laboratory testing plays a key role in the delivery of quality health care. It is estimated that 60 to 70 percent of all decisions regarding a patient's diagnosis, treatment and management are based on the results of laboratory tests.
In order to ensure that our labs produce quality results, we employ a total quality management approach to care. We continually monitor key indicators and respond to feedback from patients, physicians and hospital staff. Our goal is to provide your physician with reliable, timely results.
Our lab at Mercy Fitzgerald is CAP accredited and CLIA certified to perform testing in the following areas:
- Hematology
- Chemistry
- Urinalysis
- Microbiology
- Blood bank
- Anatomic pathology
- Cytology
Specimen collection
Our outpatient laboratory performs blood draws for patients with most insurances. In addition, our lab is an authorized draw station for Quest Laboratory for the convenience of our managed care patients. We also provide facilities for urine collection for urinalysis and urine cultures.
Outpatient lab services*, including blood work and specimen collection, are conveniently offered at:
