After that, I stayed a full year post-doctoral research fellow at Mayo Clinic, Rochester and I ended up becoming a top performer in my group before leaving. I left at the 1-year-mark to pursue my IM residency at Nazareth Hospital.

A new chapter began when I started a cardiology residency and later fellowship at Cairo University hospital. The experience was very enriching, fulfilling and educational on so many levels.

Luckily for us, we are both starting at Nazareth Hospital as a resident and a fellow.
