Diagnostic Testing
We offer extensive diagnostic tests to ensure our patients are getting the best care possible to help ease their symptoms like:
Bravo pH probe monitoring
48-hour, minimally invasive test for the evaluation of heartburn or related symptoms by determining the frequency and duration of acid coming into the esophagus.
Ambulatory 24 hour pH-impedance monitoring
A study that measures and records the amount and severity of stomach contents backing up into the esophagus and can detect if the content of the reflux is acidic or non-acidic.
Esophageal manometry
Esophageal manometry may be performed to evaluate the causes of gastric reflux, heartburn, difficulty swallowing and functional or atypical chest pain.
Anorectal motility testing
Allows for the diagnosis of anorectal sensorimotor dysfunction for patients complaining of constipation, fecal incontinence or abdominal pain.
