EMS vehicleMercy Fitzgerald Hospital launched the first ever crowdfunding campaign for a Trinity Health ministry and set the bar by surpassing the goal of raising $65,000 to purchase a state-of-the-art Advanced Life Support chase car. This fully equipped vehicle joins a fleet of ambulances and chase cars that provide 911 emergency services for residents in Delaware County.

EMS teamMercy Fitzgerald EMS maintains a response rate of less than nine minutes, beating the national average. Timing is everything when it comes to responding to an emergency in the community. Chris Cullom, president of Mercy Catholic Medical Center shared, “the new EMS vehicle will help the Mercy Fitzgerald EMS team continue to provide necessary, timely care to community members most in need.”

The new vehicle was made possible thanks to support of 100 donors as well as two lead gifts from Gerolamo, McNulty, Divis & Lewbart, P.C. and Marquis Health Services. “We are grateful for the generous support from our neighbors, colleagues, and community partners who helped us add to our Mercy Fitzgerald EMS vehicle fleet,” said Jim Green, vice president and chief development officer for Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic.
