Muqsita Nashat, MD
Program Director and Hospitalist
Dr. Nashat graduated from Kakatiya Medical College in India in 1998. She worked as a house physician in India for few years and then joined Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, Pennsylvania to complete her residency in internal medicine in 2005. She later completed her fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2006. She is board-certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine.
Dr. Nashat is a Hospitalist and the Program Director of Transitional Year Residency at Nazareth Hospital. In addition, she is also a faculty member of Internal Medicine Residency Program and is actively involved in teaching and in quality improvement projects with the Residents at Nazareth Hospital.
Abhiman B. Cheeyandira, MD, MRCS, FACS
Board-Certified General and Bariatric Surgeon
Dr. Cheeyandira completed his medical training at Bangalore Medical College in Bangalore, India, followed by basic surgical training at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and residencies at Abington Memorial Hospital and Hahnemann University Hospital. Prior to joining Mercy, he worked as a trauma and acute care surgeon at Aria Healthcare and completed his fellowship in Advanced Gastrointestinal/Minimally Invasive Surgery/Bariatrics at Cleveland Clinic Florida.
Dr. Cheeyandira is certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery. He is also certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Core Skills in Laparoscopic Surgery, and Fundamental Critical Care. Dr. Cheeyandira is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (United Kingdom), American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).
Arpitha Reddy, MD
Board-Certified Nephrologist and Internist
Arpitha Reddy, MD, is a nephrologist in Philadelphia, Pa. She is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the Northeast Philadelphia area, including Nazareth, Jefferson Torresdale, Holy Redeemer and St. Mary. She received her medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1997 and completed her residency in internal medicine at Saint Louis University Medical Center in 2000. She also completed a fellowship in nephrology at Long Island College Hospital in 2003.
Dr. Reddy is board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology. She held medical directorship at Newtown Dialysis Center in Astoria, N.Y., and Belmont Court Dialysis Center in Doylestown, Pa. Dr. Reddy is actively involved with morning reports for internal medicine residents at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital and is a core faculty member for Nazareth Hospital’s Transitional Year Residency Program where she supervises residents and students.
Anna Dubyanskite, MD
Board-Certified Nephrologist and Internist
Anna Dubyanskite, MD, specializes in nephrology with her private practice at Nazareth Hospital and St. Mary Medical Center. She received her education at the School of Medicine at Vilnius State University in Lithuania and completed multiple residencies in Lithuania and throughout the Philadelphia region.
Dr. Dubyanskite is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and by the American Board of Nephrology.
