Urologic Cancers
Common urologic cancers include prostate, bladder, kidney and testicle. Urologists work in collaboration with oncology specialists to develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient. The goals of urologic cancer treatment are to remove as much of the cancer as possible while preserving function.
Innovative treatments our urologists use include:
- Blue light cystoscopy for bladder cancer surveillance and treatment
- MRI fusion for prostate biopsy
- Hydrogel spacers to preserve healthy tissue during radiation therapy for prostate cancer
- Robotic-assisted and minimally invasive surgeries
Same- and next-day appointments for patients with urologic cancers are available.
