All deliveries of newborn babies take place at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.
St. Mary Children’s Health Center
St. Mary Children’s Health Center is also now part of St. Mary Family Medicine Bensalem. We provide primary healthcare services for children newborn to age 18, including well visits, sick visits, and follow-up care.
Services families receive—whether insured or uninsured—are:
- Preventive and primary health care for children from birth to 18 years of age
- Vaccinations
- Hearing and vision screenings
- Hospitalization and routine laboratory tests
- Referrals to WIC (Women, Infants and Children) through the Department of Health
The Children’s Health Center provides on-call Emergency Service 24 hours, 365 days.
The St. Mary Children’s Health Center nurses screen new mothers for postpartum depression from the time their babies are born until their 12-month well-baby visits.
Well-baby visits include physical and developmental exams, screenings and immunizations.
Health maintenance visits typically consist of a comprehensive physical and developmental exam, including vision and hearing screenings, and routine laboratory testing.
