St. Mary Endoscopy Center
Phone & Address
1205 Langhorne-Newtown Road
Suite 103
Langhorne, PA 19047
Hours
Most endoscopy is done as an outpatient procedure. Patients will receive a phone call the day before the scheduled procedure informing them of the time they are to arrive and providing them with instructions in preparation for the endoscopy. In most cases, you will be instructed not to eat or drink anything, including water, candy and gum, after midnight on the day of your procedure.
You should bring any medical conditions you have to the attention of your doctor and ask about taking medications you normally take.
Registration
Register at St. Mary Endoscopy Center in the Medical Office Building. Convenient parking is available at the front of the hospital. Complimentary valet service is available at the front of the hospital main entrance Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
After registering, you will be taken to the endoscopy suite where your doctor will explain the procedure and an IV for medication will be started.
Your relative or companion who accompanied you (necessary to drive you home) can wait for you in the lobby area.
Recovery
After the procedure, you will be in recovery for about an hour. Your companion may be with you during this time. Your IV will be removed before discharge, and your companion will be asked to bring the car to the Medical Office Building entrance.
