Level II Trauma Center

The St. Mary Trauma Center is one of 40 regional trauma centers to meet the tough standards required for accreditation in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundations (PTSF). Our Level II Trauma Center is fully equipped to handle all types of immediate care needs. From severely injured accident victims and patients requiring immediate critical care to the prompt and effective treatment of a broken bone or deep laceration, trauma-certified physicians and specially trained clinical personnel excel in providing quality standards of professional care. The St. Mary trauma team is designed to coordinate multiple aspects of treatment and follow-up care.
