Venous insufficiency is a serious condition in which blood pools in the veins, decreasing blood flow from the legs to the heart. Blood that pools in your feet and legs is not circulating throughout your body, which is bad for your heart. If venous insufficiency remains untreated over an extended period of time, ulcers or blood clots can develop. The earlier venous insufficiency is diagnosed and treated, the better your chances of preventing serious complications.

Will insurance cover my vein treatment?

Most insurance companies will cover these procedures for medical necessity but not for cosmetic reasons. Talk to your insurer.

How long do these treatments take to perform?

About 45 minutes to an hour.
