Dr. Dhanraj told me that gel shot is better than cortico steroid injection but insurance company may not approve it. So it is better to start with physical therapy and steroid shot.

The doctor was ready with options 1,2 and 3 after examining and after giving me the ssteroid shot seemed to be in a massive hurry to get out of the room to take a call. Everytime I asked a follow up question, he gave a quick answer and was ready to dart out of the room and when I asked the next question, he again came back in to the room. I expressed concerns about chronic joint pains one after the other. He just shrugged it off as life happens. Not a single moment to hear me out that there could be a bigger issue at hand. Looks like he only wanted to give the shot and dash away either to the phone call or to the next appointment. I don't know why he was in such a hurry
