Nazareth Hospital recognizes Karli Dangler, RN, with DAISY Award

Philadelphia, Pa. — (June 20, 2023) — Nazareth Hospital recently presented a DAISY® Award to Karli Dangler, RN, from the neuroscience unit.

Dangler was nominated for this prestigious award by a previous patient for providing extraordinary and compassionate care. Dangler was “kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable, and is truly an asset to the Nazareth Hospital nursing staff,” the patient said.

The DAISY Award is a program that recognizes excellence in nursing. It was created by The DAISY Foundation to highlight the clinical skills, extraordinary passion and care exemplified by nurses every day. Award recipients consistently demonstrate each of the award’s criteria of Dedicated, Autonomous, Innovative, Selfless and Extraordinary.

Dangler joined Nazareth Hospital in November 2020. She is a kind and caring nurse who is always attentive to her patients’ needs. She develops a rapport with her patients by establishing a personal connection, thereby driving individualized nursing care to all she serves.

Dangler’s manager, Tina Young, MSN, says that she is a dedicated team member and deserving recipient of this award. “Karli is a pleasure to work with, and her patients enjoy the care she provides. She is always willing to help anyone on the unit and is dedicated to her patients and coworkers alike,” said Young.
