Mercy Fitzgerald EMS receives $10,000 donation from Marquis Health Services for new EMS vehicle
November 4, 2020PHILADELPHIA – (November 5, 2020) – Mercy Catholic Medical Center – Mercy Fitzgerald Campus received a $10,000 donation from Marquis Health Services yesterday for its Mercy EMS campaign, Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic’s first crowdfunding campaign.
The campaign successfully raised over $65,000 for the purchase of a new state-of-the-art chase car and cardiac monitor. Leaders from Mercy Catholic Medical Center and Marquis Health Services gathered yesterday outside Mercy Catholic Medical Center – Mercy Fitzgerald Campus for a check presentation to commemorate the donation.
“We are tremendously grateful for the generous donation,” said Jim Green, Vice President and Chief Development Officer for Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic. “The assistance from Marquis Health Services will allow us to ensure our community has access to much-needed EMS services.”

Mercy Fitzgerald EMS provides 911 service for the Delaware County community, meeting the emergency needs of more than 80,000 residents. Fully equipped Advanced Life Support chase cars help the Mercy EMS team maintain a response rate of less than nine minutes, beating the national average.
“Our focus remains on providing timely, compassionate care for our community,” said Chris Cullom, President of Mercy Catholic Medical Center. “With a new chase car and cardiac monitor, our EMS team has the equipment needed to provide the best care for Delaware County.”
