Angel McColloughNewtown Square, Pa. – (January 11, 2024) – Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is pleased to announce that Angel McCullough, DNP, RN, MBA, CCRN, NEA-BC, FACHE, has been named chief nursing officer of St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pa., and Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia. As CNO, McCullough is responsible for providing clinical and administrative nursing leadership at both hospital campuses, overseeing planning, directing, monitoring and evaluating safe, high-quality patient care across the continuum.

McCullough joins Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic from Jefferson Health System in Philadelphia, where she spent two-and-a-half years in senior nursing leadership roles, most recently serving as senior director of Nursing Operations and Patient Care Services. Prior to her time at Jefferson, Angel held nursing leadership roles at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia, Crozer Health in Upland, Pa., Maxim Healthcare Services in Bala Cynwyd, Pa., and Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown, Pa.

McCullough earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Chester University, a Master of Business Administration from Eastern University in St. Davids, Pa., a Master of Science in Nursing from LaSalle University in Philadelphia and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Walden University in Baltimore.

McCullough succeeds Monica Eckhardt, MSN, who is retiring from her position as CNO of St. Mary Medical Center and Nazareth Hospital after more than 35 years with the organization.
