How do I submit an application?
MCMC accepts all applications through the Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS). Applications submitted in any other form will not be reviewed. Applications submitted through ERAS must have complete information to be reviewed.
What facilities are available to residents?
- Dedicated Residents’ Conference Room.
- Library: Departmental library available to residents 24/7.
- Parking: Residents have assigned parking areas on campus with no charge.
What is the call schedule?
PGY-2 residents begin their first year with supervised evening call for 12 months. Independent overnight (night float) call begins in the PGY-3 year with Nighthawk attending back-up always available for complicated cases. Residents are on evening call an average of 4-5 days per month. Residents complete 17 weeks of night float during their PGY-3 through PGY-5 years. A meal allowance is provided for each resident that covers the cost of most lunches and dinners.
Are there international medical school graduates in the program?
Yes. International medical school graduates participate in the program. MCMC sponsors both H-1B and J-1 visas.
