A robust conference schedule supports resident education throughout the year.

The curriculum is continuously updated to reflect advances in radiology, emerging technologies, and evolving board examination requirements.
Research & scholarly activity
Research and scholarly activity are strongly encouraged throughout residency. Residents regularly collaborate with faculty on:
• Clinical research projects
• Educational exhibits
• Quality improvement initiatives
• Case reports and review articles
Many residents present their work at national meetings, including RSNA and ARRS, winning awards, and publishing in peer-reviewed radiology journals.
Resident teaching opportunities
Teaching is an integral component of resident development. As an affiliate of Drexel University College of Medicine and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, the department hosts medical students who participate in radiology electives throughout the year. Residents contribute to medical student education through one-on-one teaching, case discussions, clinical mentorship and introductory radiology lectures. Residents also work closely with trainees from Internal Medicine, Transitional Year, and Preliminary Medicine programs, further developing their teaching and leadership skills.
