I attempted to answer this already but I'll try again...Deana not only has knowledge of medicine etc but she has the ability to convey that knowledge to the patient on a level that they can understand what is medically happening to them and it is manner that instills trust...Deana is approachable and non patronizing which instills confidence in her treatments etc....All questions get answered in a friendly atmosphere. She would have made a great teacher as well as a doctor...I value her judgement....I was a Physical Therapist since 1980 and the profession needs more Drs like her

She has made me comfortable discussing uncomfortable items and takes time to verify that I understand. Deanna is very thorough and competent. She always answers my questions thoroughly. She respects my judgement. I have many healthcare providers and I do not remain with a provider if I'm not satisfied with their care, e.g. I have seen 5 endocrinologists because I was not satisfied with the care I received. I followed Deanna from her previous office because I am very pleased with the care I receive from her. She recently observed a bump on my forehead and referred me to a dermatologist. I was diagnosed with skin cancer. I had no idea that the bump was a concern until Deanna told me.

Deanna is the first nurse practitioner I've dealt with and I think she is every bit as good as my former physician, and I really liked him. Many physicians I've dealt with seem to put up a personal barrier and want to be very formal and end up missing the point of the visit. Deanna is very personable while being professional and her self confidence and style makes me very relaxed. I wish more physicians adopted this approach. I have recommended her to several of my friends.
