Nazareth Hospital Recognizes Janelle McPherson, RN, with DAISY Award

Philadelphia, Pa. — (May 8, 2023) — Nazareth Hospital recently presented a DAISY® Award to Janelle McPherson, RN, from 3 Holy Family Telemetry.

McPherson was nominated for this prestigious award by a physician for demonstrating initiative and professionalism. “Janelle provides extraordinary and compassionate care to her patients and works collaboratively with others,” said the nominating physician.

The DAISY Award is a program that recognizes excellence in nursing. It was created by The DAISY Foundation to highlight the clinical skills, extraordinary passion and care exemplified by nurses every day. Award recipients consistently demonstrate each of the award’s criteria of Dedicated, Autonomous, Innovative, Selfless and Extraordinary.

McPherson joined Nazareth Hospital in June 2022. She is a team player who is willing to go the extra mile for anyone in need. She treats everyone with respect and is adored by her patients.
