Wilmington, Del. — Saint Francis Hospital has appointed Seyedmedhi Jadali, M.D., FACS, Trauma Medical Director. Dr. Jadali will lead the trauma program at Saint Francis, currently a Participating Trauma System Hospital seeking a Level 3 Trauma Center designation from the state in the upcoming year.

“Our trauma program is a collaborative effort between Dr. Jadali, our expanded board certified trauma surgical staff and our Emergency Department physicians,” said Brian Dietz, FACHE, president and CEO, Saint Francis Hospital. “Our highly educated and trained staff members continue to uphold the hospital's commitment to providing fast access to advanced trauma care to the greater Wilmington community.”

Jadali, board certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a member of the Surgical Associates of New Castle. He has held various medical roles throughout his 25 years of practice after graduating from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 1991. Jadali recently served as the Director of Newark Urgent Care in Newark, DE, and Associate Program Director for the Department of Surgery Residency Program at Christiana Care Health System.

Jadali has published several medical articles in different facets of general surgery and trauma. His works are published in noteworthy publications including Delaware Medical Journal andNabz Journal. Jadali is a Fellow of American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, Association for Surgical Education, Association of Program Directors in Surgery, and Medical Society of Delaware.
