Depending on your condition, surgical services may be needed during your treatment. This can include:
- Excisional breast biopsy
- Lumpectomy
- Mastectomy
Gynecology services
The annual gynecology visit is an ideal time to discuss with your provider any concerns regarding breast health, receive a breast exam and review screening recommendations along with your risk for breast cancer. St. Mary’s experienced and compassionate gynecologists will help guide you through the process of determining and reducing your risk or detecting the early stages of breast cancer.
Post-treatment services
Pelvic floor dysfunction including urinary incontinence is common. The condition can be more severe for women who have received treatment for breast cancer due to chemotherapy and need to adopt a more sedentary lifestyle. Patients need a prescription from their provider for an appointment.
